BARRIE KEOWN

Barrie Francis Keown passed away peacefully on Monday, March 29th at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, with his wife of 56 years, Ann, and daughter Lisa Sutherland by his side. Age 76 years.

Pre-deceased by his parents Olive and Sentlo, his infant son Christopher and daughter Cathy. Barrie will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Tylor, Steven (Tianna), Justin (Angelique), and Keandra. His great granddaughters Alexis “Cowgirl”, Olivia “Twinkle Toes”, and Melody “Princess” will really miss their Papa. His siblings, Linda (Brian), David (Lou), Neil, and predeceased by his brother John (wife Judy) who enjoyed countless memories with him. He touched the lives of many nieces and nephews over the years.

Barrie was a kind and gentle man who was well loved and respected by all who knew him. Because of his passion for horses, Barrie made many great friends and leaves behind many memories.

Due to COVID restrictions, a celebration of life will be planned at a later date.

The family would appreciate donations in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice.
