My most sincere condolences to Audrey's family.
Mrs. Macfie was my Grade 4 Teacher at Magnetawan Central School!
I struggled with reading and math...
Mrs. Macfie was the force in my young life, that identified my struggles and guided my learning, through ART and CREATIVITY!
She identified my learning struggles, she engaged un-conventional learning technics...we had a breakthrough.
Honestly, my ability to draw, create, and be artistic...all came from her pushing me to find my best way forward.
My dyslexic life experience was greatly diminished by her kind heart and understanding.
40 years later...
I am, where I am...largely because of caring mentors like her.
I will alway attribute my LIFE'S success to HER kind heart and her deepest wish for us, to succeed!
I wish Audrey could've witnessed the quality of life, her kindness and understanding afforded ME!
Forever grateful <3

Mrs. Macfie (as she will always be to us) touched many lives in her time as a teacher at Magnetawan Central. My children benefited from her dedication. I was honoured to get to know her while doing hot lunches and being on parent council. My sincere sympathy to her family. I am sorry Alzheimers robbed you of your last years with her (we walked a similar path) .
Her legacy lives on in the success of many children's lives she touched ❤

Dear Frank and family,
Audrey was a remarkable woman! We knew her both through supply teaching and her dedication to the retired teachers as membership chair. I used to enjoy our drives over to Sunridge, hearing about your family and your musical endeavours. Audrey had very difficult years at the end but rest assured she is with the angels! Mary and Phil
