Anna Jean Gignac (Morrison) passed away suddenly at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Thursday, August 12th, 2021. Age 80 years.

Predeceased by parents Thomas and Marguerite (Crosswell) Morrison. Beloved wife of the late Ted Gignac. Loving mother of Gina; and Terry and his wife Sonia. Dear Granny of Riley. Dear sister of Anita Kerr (late Jim); Tom Morrison (late Linda); June Orr (Tim); Gwen Orr (Kelly); and the late Beverley Adams (late Ken). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Cremation. Memorial visitation to celebrate a life well lived will take place at the Logan Funeral Home on Saturday, August 21st, 2021 between 2:00 - 4:00 P.M.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society Muskoka would be appreciated.

Dear Gina, Terry, Sonia and the Morrison family,
I first met Anna Jean when she and Ted showed up at the manse in Mattawa to ask me to marry them. Your Aunt Jean and a neighbour acted as witnesses and I married them in my little church and sent the happy couple on their way. We met and talked to her at many of the Gignac functions. She was always pleasent, cheerful and interested in us and what was going on. She had a long time as a widow which is always difficult and lonely. We are sorry to know of her last illness. We send our thoughts and prayers along with our sincere sympathy on her death. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have fond memories of Anna Jean in our very early years when we used to play together. In fact I have a picture of Anna Jean, Bev, Anita, and me bundled up in our snow suits, hats, and scarves. We had great fun tobogganing down the hill and making snow forts. My thoughts are with you.
