Percy Haskim, WWII veteran, RCL Br. #117
passed away at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Orillia, on Sunday, January 17th, 2010.
Age 88 years.
Beloved husband of the late Mabel Rena (McCombe) Haskim.
Son of the late Jack and Charlotte Haskim.
Dear father of Gloria Haskim of Kirkland Lake; Sharon and her husband Sam Johnston of Orillia; Terry and his wife Joanne Haskim of Swastika; Michael and his wife Brenda Haskim of Parry Sound; Joanne and her husband Tom Sawicki of Burlington; Susan and her husband Normand Quintal of Orillia; and Heather Haskim of Orillia.
Loving Grandpa of Devin, Darcie, Amber, Quenton, Rena, Katelyn,Leanne, Martine, Sophie, Jean-Paul, Sylvie, Lyndsey, and Sarah. Dear Great Grandpa of Charlotte.
Lovingly remembered by Linda Hurd.
Survived by his sister Leontine, and his brother Lofty.
Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Resting in the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound (746-5855) where the family will receive visitors on Tuesday, January 19th, from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 P.M.
Funeral Service in the Logan Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 20th at 1:00 P.M.
Reception to follow.
Interment Hillcrest Mausoleum and Sylvan Acres Cemetery in the spring.
