Mieke Y. Muzzi-Kramers passed away peacefully after a battle with lung cancer, at Bridgepoint Active Healthcare, Toronto, on Sunday, March 11th, 2018. Age 84 years.

Cherished wife of the late Ralph Muzzi. Loving mother of Peter (Susan); Michele (Mark);
Inge (Derek); and Martine. Much-loved, spirited Oma of Josh, Nicola, Monique, Ben, Gabrielle, Natalie, and Jared. Dear sister of Alfred and Hanneke of the Netherlands and Belgium, and the late Koenie, Maarten, and Doetje. Dear aunt to numerous European and Canadian nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by the extended Muzzi family in Canada, and special friends in Parry Sound who greatly enjoyed her engaging stories, her sense of humour and compassionate nature.

Mieke arrived in Parry Sound in 1960 from the Netherlands and began to work as a nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Parry Sound, where she met her husband Ralph. Special thanks to Dr. Pelc and all of the staff at Bridgepoint.

Resting at the Logan Funeral Home where friends will be received on Friday, March 16th, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 P.M.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church
on Saturday, March 17th at 1:00 P.M. Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Doctors Without Borders, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
