Ligonis ‘Len’ Gabers passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at Lakeland Long Term Care on Thursday, August 20th, 2015. Age 89 years.

He has left behind his wife Dzidra ‘Klara’, Sons Modris (Evelyn) of Victoria B.C., and Richard (Anne) of Nobel, and grandchildren Jeff (Rebecca) of Red Rock and Nicole (Chase) of Squamish B.C.

We would like to thank the staff on Magnetawan for making his last year comfortable with special thanks to Naomi, Amanda, Kim, Dianne, Ruthann, and Pearl. Many thanks to Dr. Woodhouse for his care and compassion.

A Service in Celebration of Len’s Life will take place in the Logan Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 24th, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment York Cemetery, North York on Tuesday, August 25th, 2015 at 12:00 noon.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Lakeland Long Term Care would be appreciated.
