Gertrud Feldmann passed away suddenly 10 days before her 60th Wedding Anniversary at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Monday, November 19th, 2018. Age 88 years.

Beloved wife of Hans. Loving mother of Peter, Hans Jr., Mark, Anna Maria, and the late Tim. Cherished Oma of Bryn and Caillie. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

After retiring from the farm in the Stratford area, Gertrud and Hans moved to Carling in 1988 where they spent many happy years on the waters of Georgian Bay. After giving up her career as a nurse and midwife to start farming with her husband, Gertrud returned to the health care environment, and dragging her husband along, enjoyed 25 years as a volunteer at the West Parry Sound Health Centre.

As was Gertrud’s wish, her body has been donated to the School of Anatomy at the University of Toronto.

A Celebration of Gertrud’s life will take place at the Logan Funeral Home (705-746-5855), 81 James Street, Parry Sound on Saturday, December 8th, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. Visitation prior from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M.
