David Vernon Merrey (retired after more than 30 years as an employee at Grundy Lake Provincial Park) passed away peacefully with family and friends by his side, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Wednesday, November 30th, 2016. Age 68 years.

Beloved husband of Lenore. Loving father of Jeff (Kayla), and Melissa. Proud grandfather of Madison, Lindsey, Eric, Tyler, and Tyson. Fondly remembered by his other relatives, and friends.

As was his wish, there will be no Funeral Service. An informal celebration of his life will take place at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
