Arthur Howard Buttineau passed away peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, on Friday, May 18th, 2018. Age 92 years.

Beloved husband of the late Theresa. Cherished companion of Delina Miller. Loving father of Wayne (the late Diane); Gary (Kitty); Vernon; Donna Mundy (the late Bruce); Darlene Buttineau (Pete); and Leon. Cherished grandfather of 15, great grandfather and great great grandfather of many. Dear brother of the late Tom, George, William, Leona, and Raphael. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitors will be received at the family’s home, 345 Eastside Drive, Britt from 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 20th until Tuesday morning. Then to Holy Family Church, Britt where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 22nd at 11:00 A.M. Interment Holy Family Cemetery, Britt. Reception to follow.

my grandfather was one of the greatest and strongest men i have ever had the honor or knowing. at 90 years old he would get up at the crack of don and help delina in the garden until lunch time. Then after lunch he would head into his work shop for hours making the most wonderful things for us kids. i still have the beautiful handmade wooden box he gave me when i was a little girl. i miss you pepare
